Give Back This Holiday Season

In this season of family, reflection, and connection, it is vital to help those who are in need in our communities. Whether it is monetary or volunteering your time, helping your community keeps the American Dream alive. This year, National Day of Giving is on November 29, and across the country, millions of people will join together to support local charities and non-profits.

Giving does not need to be complicated, but it is important. This season, you may be blessed with bounty, but many Americans will have to pick between paying their utilities and buying their child an efficient winter jacket. If you have unused in good condition, consider donating to families at local community clothing drives. Likewise, if you have extra blankets, many local animal shelters look for donated blankets to comfort animals during the colder weather.

From big acts of charity to smaller gestures, no volunteer or donation goes unnoticed. It actively helps the people (or animals) around your community. This goes a long way—and you could be making a difference in someone’s life.

At our foundation, Americans look out for each other. We believe in each other. Don’t let this season pass you by without helping a neighbor in need.
